Service Description

Burn & scar massage is a technique that is used to prevent the scar from becoming hard and raised, and to prevent it from sticking to the underlying tissues including muscles and bones, which can limit movement. The certified therapist will use different techniques and modalities to assist with the mobility of tissue to improve its overall function. This massage is customized for clients who have survived burns that required grafting of the skin or where the skin has had to heal from trauma.
